Hand colored steel plate engraving published between the 1840-60's. Entitled The Book of the World this publication brought together the best art and illustrations from all over the globe. Each print has been custom framed in acid free cotton rag mat board. The mating is about 3 inches wide and closely match Benjamin Moore paint samples Hepplewhite Ivory HC-36(top) and Mountain Lane 488(bottom). The outside of the frame measures 17.5 inches tall and 15.5 inches wide. The image shows 9.5 inches tall and 7.5 inches wide.
