Hand colored engravings and lithographs from Curtis Botanical Magazine. We went through 4000 prints to find the best of the best and have them here for your convenience. This set was published around the 1840's. William Curtis is one of the most well known botanical illustrators of all time. Each print is framed in a water gilded gold frame with a 3 inch double mat. The mating is all acid free and closely matches Benjamin Moore paint sample Man on the Moon OC-106(top) and Oak Grove 489(bottom). Did I mention these are all Amarillos! The dimensions outside the frame is 18.25 inches tall and 16.25 inches wide. The image shows 9.75 inches tall and 7.5 inches wide.
